Training and recovery go hand in hand, and without the one, the other can’t be at its best. While we stress form and safety in every lift and exercise we do, the training process is stressful on the body. Add to that the stressors of everyday life, and it’s easy to see how our bodies get exhausted and sore! Movement & Mobility sessions are all about making the body happy from head to toe by tapping into the most basic movements that help us stand, walk, and move as effectively as possible.

During a Movement & Mobility session, we focus on developmental patterns and primal movements, postural restoration, joint by joint range of motion, stretching, and resting postures. Together, these movements promote balance and flexibility – an important predictor of overall health – and activate the parasympathetic nervous system – which helps the body rest, digest, and recover.
